THE ULTIMATE SYSTEMS MONITORING SOLUTION

DIGITAL SWITCHING SYSTEMS PARTNERS WITH LOWRANCE TO PROVIDE BOAT OPERATORS WITH THE ULTIMATE SYSTEMS MONITORING SOLUTION

Raleigh, N.C. (February 11, 2010) - Digital Switching Systems, the leading provider of multiplex device networks for the marine industry, today announced that it has partnered with Lowrance, a leader in marine electronic displays, to enable operators of sport fishing boats with complete and immediate insight into the status of devices throughout the vessel.

By linking Digital Switching Systems' omni-BUS™ multiplex device network to Lowrance's HDS displays, critical systems information can now be easily monitored on large, high-definition displays at the dash. This unique partnership will dramatically enhance the boat operator's ability to monitor critical systems information and help prevent system emergencies.

"Insight into the status of every device on the vessel has become a necessity for operators of both large and small vessels," said Eric Vaughn, president of DNA Group, parent to Digital Switching Systems. "Our omni-BUS™ system has long been the data hub of the device network. By connecting our system to Lowrance's HDS displays, we are now able to deliver vast amounts of information directly to the boat operator.

"This partnership truly is a new threshold for onboard integrated systems in the marine industry. We look forward to working with Lowrance as we continue to find new ways to integrate our systems and enhance the boating experience."

Owners of Triton Boats' new XS series will be the first to experience the new monitoring system. The status of systems voltage, livewells, bilge pumps and navigation lights are just a few of the many functions that can be monitored. Through an additional partnership with Mercury Marine, boat owners will also be able to closely monitor the boat's engine status.

"Digital Switching Systems and Lowrance are leading the way for systems integration in the marine industry," said Greg Konig, vice president of product management at Navico, Inc., parent to Lowrance. "Never before have operators of sport fishing boats had such easy access to critical systems information. This unique partnership will benefit boat builders, dealers and owners alike with integrated functionality found nowhere else."
